Baby Pacman cab - minor issue best practice question
I am getting down to the small stuff wrong with my Baby Pacman now and I have a couple of questions regarding best practices.
The back door of the cab doesn't shut. along the bottom in the middle it scrubs to a halt. somewhere about three quarters of the way down on the outside edge it also seems to bind up. I have played with the screws on the hinge and there really isn't any room to adjust. Also, if I were to life the door up it would start scrubbing at the top. I think that time has warped the cab just a little causing the issue. My thought here is to take a Dremel and just sand down the high spots so to speak. Is there a better approach?
The CP looks like at one point in time it had foam glued to it where to goes up against the playfield glass. The lack of the foam means that there is quite a bit of play in the CP even when it is locked into place. I was going to go to the craft store and find some foam with a sticky back and just cut a strip the correct size. Is there anything I am not considering here? Do I need a specific kind. Maybe I am over thinking it but I was worried about the type of glue or material bleeding or off gassing something harmful into the game.
Thanks for any tips!
