well, you need to first figure out if its the monitor, or the vidiot causing the issue. Do you have another monitor you can plug the video output into?
 
here's a few things you can do in the meantime - check the video connector at both ends. look for loose, dirty, or broken pins/wires.
Check the solder joints at the video header on the vidiot. Reflow any that are cracked (use a magnifying glass to check them).

Kerri, I think all the header pins should be reflowed too. The fact that the problem seems to only happen after the game is warmed up pretty good leads me to believe that a connection is coming loose. Of course it could be something else, but I would at least try it to be sure. The board did look like it was in very good shape but sometimes you can't even see the cracks in the solder.

If I end up coming back up there soon, I'll bring my soldering tools and monitor extension cables and we can try to figure it out.
