IMG_9532.jpegI have a baby pac man machine that had a 14" kortek monitor as opposed the stock wells Gardner in it when I bought it. I recapped the monitor, and now all I get on the picture is a bunch of short distorted vertical lines. I pulled the chassis again to double check my work, and I noticed a 3k ohm 2 watt resistor with no solder on one of its joints whatsoever - resoldered the joint, but still only seeing the distorted vertical lines. Are there pot/flyback adjustments to fix this, or something else wrong with the monitor chassis?

did you ever get this to display right?
Yeah, actually - the major issue was my H and V holds were messed up, so I adjusted those til the picture came in right. Additionally I replaced the idc connector that goes from the vidiot board to the monitor - someone had rigged the sync wires with pins that weren't IDC, so I redid that to fix some wobble on my monitor once the holds were right. So far so good, replaced a bad drop target coil, works right now. Just a couple GI and other playfield lamps are out despite the LEDs I put in testing good with a multimeter. Last thing for the monitor now is that occasionally my ghosts flicker, both the fruit and pac man sprite get clipped by black sometimes but that's about it. MPU rams are new, Vidiot EPROMs and vrams are new.
