Baby Pac Man - who knows what the comm numbers are referring to?

I have a Baby Pac Man, and when I boot it up I get comm errors on "20" and "80" in both columns. The Vidiot and MPU boards do not appear to be communicating with each other correctly. Does anyone know what the "20" and "80" numbers are actually referring to? Is this an error on a ROM or between two specific points on the boards?

Sometimes when the playfield gets "grounded" the comm errors go away, and the game plays fine for a while. Then the errors come back again. Could this be a problem with grounding of certain components? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Thanks,
Dave

Thanks. I did replace most of those already, and all new headers on the MPU board. What I have not done is replace the headers on the Vidiot board - I'm afraid that's next... Could it be a ROM error, or not because it doesn't happen every time?

ROMs are pretty much like a lightbulb, they either work or they dont. Unless its a bad socket, I wouldnt say its a ROM issue.
