Does any other Baby Pac owner have start buttons that look like this (see attached)? The pictures I see online all seem to have buttons that look like those on Omega Race (squat, metal cones with lighted center).

I also have a different version of the sideart than the repros that Phoenix Arcade sells so maybe the button/sideart combo is an earlier/later production run. I have not been able to locate a matching button top for the one that I am missing.

Those look like the ones on the flyer. Some people on here have said they had them.

I have the metal (non-lit) cones that most have on both of my babies..

Its probably an early build machine....whats the serial number?
Mine, and most others I have seen have the black unlit buttons with aluminum cones.

Moving the machine away from the wall was not something I really wanted to do but then I realized I could just peek through the coin door at the boards. They are all original and matching and the serial number is EPB 1252.

According to http://www.ipsnd.net/View.aspx?id=125 that would DEFINITELY make it an early production machine

Yeah 1252 is pretty low for a baby pac. You know come to think of it I might have one of those buttons here. Send me a PM to remind me to take a look. I seem to recall a Babypac CP that had some mismatched buttons and I think one may have been like that. I sold the CP bare and still have the buttons in a bin.

The one mine has is the Aluminum cone.

I need another. WHERE?!?!?!

Thanks! Both for the compliment on my pac and the free play tip! Just wish the knumbskulls didn't drill a hole in it!

Yeah, that does suck... I did put a hole up under the cp on ours and wired it to the slam switch. The wife doesn't like to play out the whole game when she looses the first baby right away. She is a resetaholic. It was better to add the switch than to let her hit the slam switch the old fashion way. ;)

Now she can get to something like level 11 and score over one million.

Get that bad boy working, and cut that battery off. No reason to leave that thing on there another minute.
