He everyone, I have a problem with my Baby Pac which has been working fine for the last year and a half with absolutely NO issues.

But, I turned it on for the first time in about 2 months yesterday, and it appeared to be fine, until I was playing a 2 player game when all of a sudden after the 2 player turn ended, it did not switch back to player 1. But, everything was still functioning.

I turned it off and then back on, and things were no longer working correctly. At first restart/power on, it would power up with the correct # of MPU flashes and tune playing, but I couldn't get any communications during the self-test. But, all lights, and solenoids fired correctly. Just no communication on the screen.

So, I began reseating all connectors on the Vidiot, and MPU. On the next power up attempt, I got nothing but a loud "violent" noise, no MPU flashes or sound/tune, nothing on the screen, and only a couple of lights on the field were lit up.

So, I began checking fuses, and found that I had a blown 6amp fuse on the rectifier/power board. I also noticed that this fuse is for the +5v needed for the MPU. I replaced it, no change, and it blew the same fuse again.

I then checked under the playfield and found another blown fuse, the 10 amp. I then replaced both the 6amp on the power board and this 10amp under the playfield, and again, another noise, both fuses blew again, and only a couple of lights again on the playfield, no MPU tune played, no red light flashes, and nothing on the screen.

I'm thinking I have a bad coil, but all fired fine on my first run of the self-test. Now, I can't even get to the self test.

Anybody have any ideas on what this issue is pointing at?

Thanks for any help. I love my Baby, and like I said, she was working fine for about a year and a half with NO problems, until I neglected playing her for a couple of months in a row.

BTW: all connectors are new, I replaced them a year and a half ago, and have been great since, and still look great. All pins should be making excellent contact.
