Hello all,

After many years, i finally have my Baby Pac Man running and its great!! i was wondering if anyone can help me out with the High Scores...

First to note, I am using an Alltek Ultimate MPU. My game is running fantastic with it. however, the high scores are in the 4 million range (im sure its some kind of 'bug' per say). Id like to wipe them and start at zero. Can anyone help me out with an easy wipe of the high scores to zero? I know about the High Score option you can use in the audits menu, however it seems you can only move it 10,000 at a time and of course, I have scores showing 4 Million...

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Im also going to post this in the Arcade forum since its a combo to see if anyone can helo me there too...

here's revision J i think

High Score Feature Adjustments
The game is designed to award an extra ball or free game at each of three score levels.
The recommended levels are on the scorecard of the game. Any level from 10,000 to
9,999,000 can be set, as desired, as long as your game has 7 digit displays. If you have 6
digit displays then you can only go from 10,000 to 990,000. It is also possible to reset or
turn off any or all of the levels, if desired.
1. Push and release the Self-Test button at
one-second intervals approximately six
times or until identification number 01 appears on the 'Match/Ball in Play'
display.
2. The number on the Player Score Display is the score level. Press the Clear Button
(SW3) located on The Ultimate MPU Board to reset the displayed value to 00.
Then hold the credit button in until you get the desired replay value. Release the
credit button when the desired number appears. Note that the level changes
10,000 points at a time. If the number '00' is left on the displays, the high score
feature is eliminated for that level.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the second and third score levels. The identification
numbers '02' and '03' on the 'Match/Ball in Play' display are for the second and
third levels, respectively.

High Score to Date
The game is designed to award free games when you beat the current 'High Score to
Date'. The adjustment procedure is the same as for the High Score Feature Adjustment,
Steps 1 and 2. Continue pushing the Self-Test button until the identification number '04'
appears on the 'Match/Ball in Play' display and then do step 2.

Thanks for your reply... I just got a response from Alltek this morning to do a memory wipe on the MPU and then re-input BPM's rom code and it should be good. I will try it later today..

ZEKE Reply from Alltek

I want to do the same thing. That is clear all the high scores. I'm happy where my current awards are. So ZEKE what was the solution?

Thanks

Mike Martin

Hmm it's been a while, but I believe you have to set all the Alltek dip switches for the game roms to all zeros. It's either they are all in the down position, or all in the up position. Ten turn the game on. Lt it boot with the all zeros, then shut it off. Re-input BPM's coded number and then turn the game on again and the high scores should revert to zeros and no records... It's basically resets the Alltek board's memory and starts new...

Got it Working!

Called just to verify but here's what you do. With the game off set all the "Game Select Dipswitch" switches to 1 (up) except for Dip #1 which should be on 0 (down). Then turn the game game on. Wait a few seconds (maybe a minute). Then set the Game Select Dipswitch back to the Baby Pacman settings. The settings are... 00110100 or dduududd

I hope this helps. Now BPM saves MY high scores.
