Hey guys, recently picked up a Mr. & Mrs. Pac-Man pinball and now I need to have Baby Pac-Man to go next to it! I'm in Ontario Canada and I've got two options:

This one is $1750 CAD so $1250 USD , cosmetically restored and original other than that but does not work. Says it turns on and can see colour on start up but flippers don't work and screen is blank, it is also 5 hours away from me and the guy is not giving me a day to go get it.

This one is $4500 CAD so $3220 USD completely working and original, has an AllTek MPU, rebuilt solenoid/ lamp driver board and working vidiot, he just put in a new monitor plus includes the original, new rubbers and he is only 1 hour away from me. Very nice guy but I can't see if the power supply is hacked and the price is a little steep for the condition.

Would just like to know what people would personally go for because I would love to play the hell out of one but I also enjoy repairing/restoring them. Thanks in advance!

Im in BC, my Baby Pac has a brand new play field, cabinet has been clear coated, led bulbs and tube has been rebuilt, I wouldn't let it go for less than 6500 can
there might be some pics of it on my website Tucksarcade.com

I think $3200 is too much for the condition of the 2nd one.

Being in the market for a Baby Pac myself, I would jump at the chance to get one for $1250. And you say you enjoy the repair aspect so all the more reason to grab it.

I also vote for the first one. If it has the aesthetics, then that's more than 50% of the battle.
The electronics can be fixed more easily. IMHO.

EXIDY:
Baby Pacman (Bally/Midway)- Upright dedicated game $1000-$2000 - Collector price.

VAG:
$1250 to $2000+

So both sites are in agreement. Seems the complete yet non-working but good looking one is priced right.
Go get it!!! :)

I think you're getting good advice from everyone. I have one fully working that I wouldn't sell for less than $2000 and the cab is in B- condition.

Yes, BPM can be challenging to repair, but if you repair by following the guide (repinnning, etc.) you're essentially bullet-proofing it to last a long time.

The first option is the winner if you can make the electrical repairs yourself. You will need to get the boards working and replace ALL the IDC connectors to the three boards on the back door, both male and female sides, and the machine will be reliable.

I own three baby pacs (sister and brother are babysitting one each) and I have found them to be very reliable after replacing the connectors.

Hey man, if you ever looking to sell one… look me up
