I've read Ian's post and have hunted around, but I guess I'm looking for suggestions here. I have a Super Breakout, which is usually one of the more popular games played when I have company (go figure). Originally, the game worked great except the monitor was so dim, I couldn't play it without all the lights out. So I replaced the monitor with another b&w. The problem now is that I've had no luck getting rid of a "wave" floating across the screen and I can't expand the picture from edge to edge of the monitor (almost a 2" border on both sides of the screen). I'm pretty sure the wave problem it's an issue with the B+, but the pot will not adjust it low enough (should be at 75v and it's bottoms out at 86v). I've replaced the filter cap to no avail.

I recently picked up a 19" b&w tv. If I'm correct, tubes are pretty compatible with most chassis, but my question is, can I simply insert the entire tube + tv chassis into the machine and use it that way? I see where Ian mentions testing b&w boards on a tv using it's composite video. Where my issue seems to be the chassis, I'm wondering if there's any reason why I wouldn't be able to just pop the entire tube/chassis into the game and be done with it (of course a little be of re-wiring).

thanks,

-tom
