so i have one of these.. bought it saying that the power turns on and it does. Everything is working except the Red- B/W knob.. it jumps from nothing to all the way over (it stays at nill till i get about 3/4 threw its motion) when i turn it there is no inbetween.. where i can get a new one of these to fix this so i can work on some tubes..

ok so where can i locate this part.. i took it apart and this is the part number 009-036-9-001 there is some place in canada that use to make it i emailed them and they said that they don't have all the stuff to make it any more.... so now where can i get a 100k ohm thing for this rejuver so it will work right...

do you think the potentiometer (pot) is bad?

be patient, and also post some pics of the part your after. Im sure somebody here can figure it out

If you cant find the pot, you can try blasting it full of this:

or this

now deoxit is great stuff. The radioshack stuff is a ripoff but gets the job done. You can get bigger cans of deoxit through mouser etc and to be honest, you should have some anywayys. It is THE BEST stuff to fix crappy sockets on game pcbs with. THe stuff is amazing. since mark h turned me onto it i use it all the time in the automotive world saving otherwise junk car wiring connectors that got water in them and made them corrode.

i emailed B & K and they told me the didn't support them anymore because it was so old (is there someone i need to ask for when i email them??)...... i popped the cover off of the thing and looked, and the wire windings are broken. so there is no saving the one i have. ill get some pics of it tonight.

the numbers on the cover of them thing are 009-036-9-001 and the below that 235934

no its just siting one top of my pac man right now.... it somewhat works on the red... im going to drill some holes an dput in a flip switch and make it run off of one of the other ones.. someday.....

It looks to be about a two watt wirewound pot. The schematic or parts list should list the resistance of it.

You could measure the resistance of the green or blue one because the red/BW will be the same value. Measuring the outer terminals will give you the reasistance of it.

From the data sheet it says its a 3 ohm wire wound pot. Can anyone suggest a replacement? I recently purchased a 470 and the heater pot works but its really scratchy when turned. I would like to replace it if possible.

Would these work by any chance? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Potentiomet...765?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item33684b6595

I dont have the schematic for the 470 so maybe one of you guys with one could check it out for me.

Found the schematic and parts list and it doesn't mention the value of the pot. If I scanned the schematic could one of you ascertain the value from the diagram?

I see the heater voltage pot is 3 ohm where the color pots are 100k. Ive contacted B&K parts to see if they have the parts or at least can give me the values. Shouldnt be hard to find a replacement if the exact values can be determined.

I contacted B&K parts and Marian informed me that they replaced the pot with this one 200k OHM 2 watt 10% pot and even offered to send me some for free.

Part # 008-819-9-001

Now we have the values I asked for four pots and would be willing to hook anyone up with an extra for shipping.

now why in the hell wouldn't they tell me that.... instead i get sorry your product is to old sorry...i guess it all depends on who get the email...i told them what i needed and gave them the part number and everything..... o well...

I don't know I just went to their parts request page and asked for the part number. I also mentioned if it wasn't stocked anymore that I would just need the values to find a replacement. Seems odd they would tell you that but will still repair them for a flat rate.
