I need to know the dimensions and pin count of the connector on the B&K 466. I may have a source for parts to make an adaptor that will allow the use of CR series adaptors on the 466 without hacking the B&K cable.

Can someone measure the plug diameter and pin count. A head on picture of the plug and socket would also be helpful.

Thanks.

I have a 466 Ill take some pics once the kiddo is on her way to daycare. I would be interested in an adapter as well feel like making two? Ken mentioned that with a modification you can make a 466 a 470 which is very good. Anyways pics sometime in the next few hours.

Someone on another message board pointed me to a website that has plugs that look to be the correct one, but I have only seen a 466 once so I don't remember any specifics. I was planning to make these adaptors for anyone who wants one and add it to my CR series adaptor list.

Long story short: Yes I will gladly make you one once I figure out if these parts will work.

Is that position 6? From looking at the manual positions 2, 6, and 11 are not used so it may have been left out for cost cutting purposes.

not sure how to tell I started from the opposite side and counted down and it is the sixth from the top of one side not sure how the numbering works though.

No, the parts I found were not right. For now, I suggest adapting your 466 to the more modern CR series adaptors.

I am still looking...

Ok. Do you know where to get the correct connector to match the cr adapters? And has someone provided a how to on wiring the switch?

The info is in the manual I linked few posts back. Basically you can cut the cord on the machine and attach a molex housing which will let you use the newer adapters.

Yes, the connector can be bought from Bob Roberts, Mouser, Digikey etc. It is a 12 position .062 size Molex connector. Bob referrs to them as '.062 Plug & receptacle 12 position with pins & sockets'.

If you want to retain the use of your current adaptors I suggest you buy both the plug and receptacle. Cut the current cable going to the current connector, install the new receptacle on the wires still attached to the rejuvenator (with pins on the wires) and the plug (with sockets) on the other end of the cut wire. This will allow you to plug any CR series adaptor into the socket coming off of the rejuvenator. This manual shows how to wire the new connector on page 63:

I looked at the instructions on how to wire the new end to use cr style adapters, but I don't understand, don't you need some sort of switch to select which gun to test/repair?

What parts did you get to try that weren't right ?
What is the center hole size and pin spacing used on the 466 ?

That socket looks very similar to the Amphenol plug and socket used on my Sencore unit.
But I think the center hole on mine may be smaller and it's an 11 pin versus the 12 pin.
It uses an Amphenol CP11 Socket on the machine side.

Deadpool66 - Can you nab a full pic of your unit controls ?
From the little bit I can see in your other pics it looks setup similar to my Sencore......I'm just curious if it is.
