B-boy Tekken's "What a _____ looks like thread". XP

So, for the past few weeks I've been seeing these threads pop up and I have a few I would like to share. I just didn't want to make a thread for each of my finds.

1st: What a $160.00 Mrs Pacman Cocktail looks like. I feel like I got a great deal on this. I just wish I had time to restore this right away. Job schedule sucks! But if it wasn't for my job, I wouldn't have had found this gem. Monitor needs fixing. It powers on but is a blank screen and I don't hear anything going on. But, the lights do turn on and the door coin mech lights turn on. Comments...

2nd: What a $250 Pacman Upright looks like. The game works. It does have water damage but I can work around it. Top of the cab shows but atleast it's playable. It does need alot of work but will be So worth it. Comments...

3rd: What a $600 PC10 Dual Screen with 10 games, 2 player CP, and a PC Gun looks like. Owner wanted $700, lowered the price to $650 on CL and then I talked it down to $600 in the end. I LOVE this thing! Flash backs, BIG TIME! I know the games are worth around $350 alone. The gun around $100 bucks and it being a Dual Screen, I think I got a good deal. Comments...

That's it for now. I will post up more of my finds another time. I will leave as is for now.

Off Topic: I want to start a FS thread and I was wondering if anybody can tell me if I qualify to sell already. I've bought before but haven't sold anything. I have some stuff I want to sell and I want to abide to all the rules. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Looking forward to feedback.

Wow. 50+ views and no replies. SHould I take offense to this? Geez

Nah, people just jealous *wink*

j/k

But nice finds, I like the dual playchoice.......i saw one here near Houston, TX......you may have actually snagged the one I saw........it would be a nice cabinet to add to a collection, but for myself I can't afford anymore with resto jobs needed on mostly all of my cabs.....plus limited space.

What's up B,
I love cocktails. They take up little space. You can sit down in a regular chair and play them. You can eat on them. The list goes on and on. As far as the $160 goes, that is up for debate. The cabinet quality would be the deciding factor for me. The parts can be replaced, and here in Houston would be fairly easy to find. So if it was physical in good condition I would pay $160 all day.

The $250 on the Pacman is fair. You might have found a better deal somewhere along the road, but you didn't get ripped off by any means. Put a little work into her, and she'll pur.

SCORED on the playchoice! Or if you were in Mexico; GOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLLLL! I have those games valued between $350-550 (hell that Mario Bros. recently sold for $275 on ebay by itself). The gun and holster are easily $100, but more like $150-$200. That's not to mention the game board, working monitors, control panel, marquee, good cabinet quality. You made a killer score on this one for sure. On the low end, the entire package is probably worth $900 (parted out price worth close to $1500, but not advised).

On the FS thread, just copy the same header as everyone else.

Ex: FS: Playchoice 10 dual monitor includes 10 games and gun with holster

Then, in the thread, list the price you want for the item, and note if the price includes shipping.

Ex: I am selling my Playchoice 10 dual mintor with gun and holster. It comes with 10 games. The price is $1500 - note $300 shipping to the lower 48 is included in price. $1200 for local pick-up

If you want serious buyers, then take great pictures. Also, list all the defects, so there are no surpries upon game arrival. As far as your reputation is concerned people will buy from you, because there is no reason to distrust you. Only when transactions go awry will people have a reason not to buy from you (I don't think you'll have any probelms). I hope this helps buddy.

Greg

From what I have been seeing on here, to get an "attaboy" on the first two games, you would have had to snagged them for $75 or less. For the play choice, they would be excited if it was $250 or less. It's just the nature here. All that really matters is if YOU are happy with the purchases...

The scores look great.... I was never into Playchoice so that's a bit steep but as its been said, it only matters if you're stoked about the purchase.

Congrats and enjoy the resto time when you get around to it.
