I can't believe the guy went for this, but I just picked up a Viking 53" outdoor grill in awesome shape (just needs cleaned) for a SD, Food Fight and Asteroids pcbs (all fully working). This frickin' thing is a $2k grill used! It was over $5K new. Guy posted on Craigslist and said he was open to trades for arcade stuff. I got a trailer and picked this up before he came to his senses!!!!

Wife is stoked. This is the first tangible (cash doesn't count) thing that I've gotten trading arcade stuff that she could relate to.

Deal

I figure this is legalized theft. The boards were worth $300-350 tops in total! I'm looking it over and the grill will need the rotisserie spit and it looks like a couple of heat deflectors missing but I just noticed that the grill cover was inside the cabinet still in its original unopened plastic. I did a quick online search and found the covers go for $300.

Well, he was happy and I'm definitely happy, so its a win-win. I tried to talk him out of the FF, but that was going nowhere.

Viking = Heavy

Yep, this grill is the bomb. Literally. The damn thing weighs in at over 500lbs. I had no idea this thing was that freaking big and heavy since I had only seen pics of one and not one in person.

Viking 53 Inch Gas Grill

This is truly one of the best grill on the market. Depending on features, this unit will put you back about $7,000 or more. But you'll be getting one of the best grill on the market. With 100,000 BTUs, standard over sized rotisserie kit, complete heavy stainless steel construction and everything else you want, this is a great grill that is perfect for that high priced outdoor kitchen you've been dreaming of.

Pros
•Complete high quality, heavy stainless steel construction
•Unbelievable features
•Warranty includes in home repairs for a year.

Cons
•It's very expensive
•You're paying for name more than quality

User Reviews 2 out of 5 stars.....
"EXPENSIVE GRILL TO BUY, AND EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE TO MAINTAIN ! !
AFTER ONLY 3 YEARS, 800 BUCKS WORTH OF PARTS.
UNEVEN HEAT FROM FRONT TO BACK OF GRILL, NUMEROUS FAILURES ON IGNITORS AND SPARK MODULE.
NOT WORTHY OF THE $5,000 BUCKS SPENT IMO."
