I had a marquee i ordered,.didnt have the pastic scorer thing, that could cut the marquee.

Plays blind, but no monitor. Perhaps im still not up to speed on terminology. I thought "playing blind" meant the game powered on, and played,.and you could hear it,.
just COULDNT SEE IT. I wasnt aware that a cab MUST HAVE MONITORS, to be considered playing blind. I thought honestly, that if it played, and you just CANT SEE IT,.thats considered playing blind. Im sorry if im wrong there...you should HATE ME.

He lists the stuff on CL almost every day, and has been doing so for a least a month or more, so I don't think he has gotten much interest in them.

Yeah, he also posts that he'll buy and haul away any arcade game for up to $100. He's basically fishing for people who have broken down non-working games that they'll let go for $50, and then trying to re-sell them (still broken down) for $150 or $200... or more if it's something simple like a fuse or an unplugged connector.

I have no problem with that, he just sees a market where he thinks he can buy junk from people who don't care about it and sell it to people who do care about it. He's a little bit like the guys from "Pickers".

And BTW, that's not a great price on Breakout. Toady Cody was listing a minty perfectly working breakout for years for $300 and never got a bite (I don't know if he eventually sold it or not). $150 with unknown condition of boards and monitor? In fact, his post doesn't really indicate whether there are any boards in the game or not. Could be a cap kit and replacing a connector away from working, or the monitor and boards could be dead dead dead and it would cost you $500 to get the thing working.

I do fish. I get plenty of games this way. Most work.

I pay $100 to $150 per,.often, they are junk titles and junk condition.

I sand then paint. And resell for $250 or $300

I have luck. There are people out there who just want a game. They dont care which one,

they just want something for that room. And often $250 is a fine price, to the NON collector

for just about any game.

I bought an IRON HORSE for $100...and ive had offers for $200...but the game is cool!

Its fun for me! My kids play all these crap games....and in the process, i sell them and get

more. They are happy, im happy because the games end up being FREE< and the people

who buy them from me are ALWAYS happy. Have NEVER had ONE unhappy customer.

Im not as knowlegable as you guys. And i know people like me are hated here. And its this

reason, i dont come here anymore to bother you guys. I dont knock you collectors and your

ways...i respect you . ALL I ASK IS FOR THE SAME, because there is a place for people like

me,.whether its selling arcades, or fruit.

And yes...its like PICKERS!

reselling. Thats OK. I sell my shit on ebay, CL, recycler and elsewhere.

If you have a jamma harness and a power supply any jamma pcb could play "blind" by your definition.
A complete cab that doesn't show a picture while running would be considered a cab that plays "blind". You know like the cabs that still have both monitors in them and intact, maybe even include a control panel.
Not an accurate description of what your trying to sell there.

the same thing, but is missing the CP and monitors?

Im game for learning something. Not trying to describe things wrong. I thought if i plugged

a pcb in and turned it on,.and heard it playing...but couldnt see it...that was called "Playing

blind"......

i understand it is NOT a complete cab, as i described it as such, but how shuold i word that?

Your non stop posting on Craigslist for the same games over and over again doesn't really bother me. You are not the only one.

But judging by some of the comments about you on there, and the constant flagging of your ads by more than a few people, and the comments here, you have made some enemies in the collector community.

Say your Breakout is complete, all original parts, you fire it up and get no picture but you do get game sounds you have a original cab that plays blind.
The PO sounds like it's missing quite a bit and has been jammatized, I would list it as a PO cab that needs quite a few things to be original, or the buyer could use the jamma harness and add whatever pcb and monitor to make it a conversion cab from the original.

who is a competitor. I have several in the area, and they flag.

Your ad has to be flagged by a number of people to be pulled. I don't think one person, or even a couple, can get your ad pulled. Plus I believe Craigslist has spam logic to remove identical postings. You wouldn't happen to be doing that?....

it is quite possible that im being flagged by CL bots,.sure.

i do post in multiple cities. Many if not ALL of my sales come from surrounding cities like

LA and OC.

I notice i get flagged mostly at 2AM-4AM, and others complain of the same thing at the

same time! I dont believe there are multiple people flagging me, as i really dont have the

enemies you have all been led to belive. You guys know me,.the sellers know me..

THE CUSTOMERS DONT!! lol. I change my name constantly,.and people NEVER know of the bad press and posts about me.

They never put 2 and 2 together. The ads talk bad about Tim, or TIMMAY, ..

i became DAVE, and next week, im JOHN. People actually call and ask for Dave, never

knowing im that "timmay" guy someone posted bad about.

The flagger and the poster about me is ONE PERSON, and hes wasting his time.

The rest is CL bots flagging me. I will post all i want...have all the enemies they want..

i just dont care. Im open for business and will be for a long long time. Get used to me.
