Started the day driving an hour and a half to pick up a nice Space Invaders Deluxe with 8:1 kit. Got it home and into the basement right away. Looks nice.. :D

Had the itch burning.. My Super Pacman had been kind of glitchy.. Pulled the boards and cleaned all the contacts, pulled ICs and cleaned the legs. Fired it up and the picture is perfect, sounds decent (still a little hum).. but good enough to take to the basement as a working machine. Sweet!

Started playing around with my APB machine too. I picked up a non-working board set fromt he guy I got the SID from. I swapped the 6502a chip from the non-tested board to my game. It passes ROM/RAM test now, but the picture is really droopy on the left side. :( Well, it was a start and worth a try.

Always great to have good days like this! Congrats!

APB is a really fun game that I was never good at, LOL. Really enjoy playing it though.

Before I replaced the 6502a chip, the monitor was fine. When I place the other non-working board in, everything is just really wavy and only takes up the center 1/3 of the screen. Putting the "working" board in takes the left 1/3 of the screen and droops it to the point the game is unable to be played. I'll take some pics and post them, I still haven't cleaned ALL of the chips..
