Awesome arcade in a Rosanne episode with curious game
Was watching the first season of "Roseanne" tonight and in one of the episodes they go bowling at a bowling alley that had the coolest classics in it, ever. In the game room, you could see a Tempest and an Asteroids in the background, as well as a couple more I couldn't make out. In the foreground, Darlene was playing what was obviously a perfect condition Space Invaders. But here's the kicker. When the camera panned back, the name above the screen said Space Enforcer. The name of the game was in perfectly matching font, too.
Anyone ever heard of this? Is it some S.I. bootleg? Googling has not turned up any answers for me.
My alternate theory is that the show made up the name since it was in the foreground to not get sued, where the other games in the background were slightly out of focus so it didn't matter.
Just wondering.
