I just discovered this YouTube channel....Its awesome! Not sure if it's been posted here before (apologize if it has already) but he has an amazing collection of home movies his Dad took of him playing video games, getting video games, etc. They are really well edited as well.... very professional. Definitely worth a watch!

thanks for shirring ... good watch. 90's arcade gaming is what was magical for me.

That was awesome... really hit home for me. I also grew up in the 90's arcades and g'damn I miss 'em. Thanks for sharing.

thanks for sharing. two things stood out to me.
1) my mom never played video games with me WTF
2) I missed almost all of 90's video arcades...WTF was I doing ?

From what I've gathered from his other "home movie" videos....his Dad was a gamer and a collector back in the day. That kid gets so many games for Christmas! It was awesome seeing how much his parents were involved in the hobby and how happy it made them. Unfortunately, his Dad passed away from cancer 10 years ago.

Love the videos...has a "wonder years" and "Christmas story" feel to them. Really well done, he's lucky to have a Dad that recorded his childhood like that. :)

> simpler times, no non-stop media blitzkrieg on all our senses
> classic arcade games
> happy family spending time together, making memories
> father doting on his kids, dad is the hero to his family for the fun times

That WAS awesome!

Thanks for posting.

And thanks to the original poster, Tyler, and his mom and dad.

And most of all to cousin Ryan, for getting him started!

:D

Thanks for posting. Love that he put Outrun music in the end. I loved the early 90s. I was in high school and still rode my bike to play mortal kombat until I got my drivers license. By that time my best friend went to basic training. When he came back, I started my freshmen year in college. I was able to find an FAQ with all the moves and fatalities for MKII. We drove around tested the moves while everybody was trying to figure it the old fashion way. Following year, KI came out and could not find anything online which in 1994, there was very little content. So it was back to the basic. good

Mom and Dad were cool as hell. Must've been loaded to get Famicon games. I wonder what dad did for a living. I never had birthday parties at McDs. That was the shit back then.
