Hey is your AMP suit working OK? I noticed it's in the "down" position in your pics. I could have sworn he stays in the "up" position during attract mode.

Yup, I had a game started to keep the music playing and keep my son looking at the playfield while I took the picture. First pictures are before powering up.

Very cool!

I don't have any NIB pins. My Spider-Man, TSPP, and LOTR pins all look it, but I know they aren't. Depending on how Tron turns out I might have to consider that one...

very nice. super cool. it's gotta feel great knowing that you're the only one that's ever played that pin.

This is a great pic. Print it, frame it, and hang it on the wall next to the game. When he's older, you'll be glad you did...

Congrats, there's nothing like a NIB Pin being opened up out of the box and setup for the first time! I've done it twice, and it's a great feeling for sure! And a LE Avatar is a good one to be opening right now :)

Any plans for LED's? A friend of mine had LED's on his SE Avatar, and it looked amazing with them.

Wish I could find someone with a LE version somewhere close to me, I'd love to try one out!

I'm definitely kicking around the idea of LED's but it seems they look good on some games and strange on others. I'm guessing Blue LED's would like nice in there and I'll probably go with them down the road.

My advice - don't over-LED/over-color it. Avatar is plenty blue w/ the natural bulb light bringing out the colors in the game....using blue bulbs would just turn it into an all-blue murky mess. Most Sterns are pretty damn bright w/ incandescents....I don't know why people are so quick to LED them. Plus - many new Sterns have a "pulsing" light effect or incremental levels of brightness on inserts...not just on/off, and LEDs flicker like crazy when there's one of these effects. Although - I've seen those Noflix LEDs advertised....I wonder if those would be good. Personally, I generally just use LEDs in the spotlights. Those look nice & brighten things up a bit more.

Congrats!!!

Arcade games AND a Trailblazer SS? You know what's good ;)

Are the signatures on the playfield under clearcoat?

Chris
