Were you able to get the Star Trek SOS running smoothly?

Yes - it suddenly without rhym or reason started working early Sat afternoon.
Like a dummy; I left it on free play until tonight at ~9pm.

It's now taking quarters properly. :p

I'll be there tomorrow for the 7:20pm showing (tue 7/5).

As some of you know; I was hospitalized on the 11th of June, had a partial colectomy (surgery) on the 15th, and released from the hospital on the 21st.
Mr.Red came out and loaded the Star Trek Charity Arcade with the help of Adam (<--MANY THANKS) on the 20th IIRC while I was still in the hostpital.

Anyway; tonight was a good night (painwize) and finally got around to doing final count of the quarters. The Summer of 1982 Charity Arcade made $146 in quarters which was submitted to the Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas - Area of Greatest Need via their online donation process.

Given the good showing; I would have really liked to do a TRON event... but I'm under strict no-lift orders from the surgeon until mid August which makes pickup and delivery of the Tron machines a non-start.

Thanks go out to the RITZ Alamo Drafthouse Team for making the Star Trek Charity Arcade such an awesome success – this wouldn't have been possible without their support.

Thanks go out to VinDog here on KLOV for loaning me his Sega Star Trek Vector Upright for the Charity arcade.

Glad to know you're feeling better. Some of those texts you sent me right before you went in made me wonder if the meds were looping you up and you sent them to the wrong person (unless you replied all).

Wish I could have made it out...

combo of auto-correct fail "Going under - see u Kate" was suppose to be "Going under <anesthesia> - see u Later"

The pain meds weren't that good. Blame apple for these stupid screen keyboards
