Austin, TX KLOVers: PM me if you'd potentially be able to help me out...

There's a game on eBay close to you that I might be buying. I'm asking this now in case I do, so that I can pull the trigger ASAP. The seller would like to deal with someone locally, and I'm trying to set up shipping as well.

Let me know - thanks!

PM me the details. I don't know if I can, but you can be sure I won't buy it out from under you...

That's okay. I already found the post and offered him double for it. I'm going to convert it into a combination toilet/couch/refrigerator/fish tank.

:) Good luck.

First it was on ebay so no post. Second I just did a buy it now and plan on Moppetizing it. HeHe

Thanks for all the offers of help, people.

The seller is willing to help me prep the machine and drop it off at a shipper. Do any of you have suggestions for shipping going out of Austin?

So, since it seems to be under wraps, how about you let us in on what it is... Cabaret? Trimline?

The mystery machine is not here yet, so it's not under wraps. Once I have it, I'll make sure to post all the details.

But, so far, this has been fun. The seller is a collector, and that really helps. Mutual appreciation for the stuff you buy and trade always makes for a better transacton, IMHO. It reminds me of when gprotein brought me a couple of old-school Warlords contest pins when I gave him that TRON mini project. Folks that "get it" are sort of like a fraternity.

You can contact Michelle Bianchi for shipping arrangements (info on this forum elsewhere), or even try FedEx Freight.

There are quite a few shipping companies around here. Just look them up on the internet, give them a call, and ask for a quote. explain that it will be dropped off at their facility...
