Man, it was great seeing so many of you there yesterday. I think this was either the best turnout ever or we were just better organized. There was not as much stuff as usual, but there was a higher degree of working stuff. The cool thing was it went cheap. Part of that was because we knew each other and worked out what we were going to bid on before hand. So there was a lot less of us bidding against each other driving up the price. The auctioneers hated that, but too bad.

AlexCC and PSeeds definitely got the most deals out of the crew from what I could see. I'll let each of them explain their bargains if they choose to.

For myself, I went up there to consumate a deal for some Mystic Marathon Parts, a board set and a really clean control panel thet looks like it just came off a brand new machine. I'm stoked about those :D.

I also picked up a Mille Miglia with the second accelerator pedal (for kids on chairs) a very unique addition to the cabinet, a Simpsons that looks to have been converted from a TMNT, a jukebox for my wife and a dedicated Robocop.

I have posted the raw photos on my photobucket pages: (link).

Unfortunately, the pictures ended up uploading in semi-random order. So lets play a game. I took close up pictures of some of the selling prices and also pictures of the games. See if you can match the prices with the games. :)

Some other serious bargains, especially in the large items. Most 50" showcase cabs went for $25 to $75 working. $5 to dumpster bait non-working.

I took a counter and it only went for 55 bucks. I didn't get there in time to watch it auction. I had other stuff to do and by the time I got there around 5:30-6:00 about 80 to 90 percent of the games were gone and they were writing out checks. At least I got money for gas this week (30.53). Guy said it was the worst one he has seen in Dallas. Only games I was interested in were the Gauntlet (Anyone see what it went for) and Jungle Hunt which went for 250. Which is more that I would have spent since I am broke.

Gauntlet may haqve been a buyback. I'm pretty sure it belongs/belonged to Kelly Ray. I have his number if you are interested. I think it was a buyback at $275.

I went just to "look" but ended up with 7 cabs. Deals were just too good to pass up.
Ended up with:
Rapidfire (shooter) for $50 working with a dim monitor.
Silver Strike bowling in one of those slanted metal cabinets (what are those called?)
dead but complete $25
Shartshooter (shooter) dead but complete for $25
PGA Tour Golf complete but monitor has a line thru middle $50
Cruisn World (no board) $10
Road Fighter dead not sure if board in there $5
Stern cabinet with an unk Konami board for $5
Had a good time and it was great seeing everyone and meeting some KLOV people I had not met before.
Here are some crappy pics I took:
