Thanks Nick. As always, I appreciate all of your help. Not to mention, the free gifts you toss in the box. I am excited for the board(s) to get here. As soon as I figure out all the parts I need, I will place my next order. Hopefully I will win something this time. ;-)

Nixs, I bot your 60 in 1 from your site Sunday

I Nixs - I was referred to this site and you by Jason in Totowa, NJ.
I just bot 4 cabinets from him - one vertical to specifically convert to this 60 in 1.

I am also thinking about converting another one to the elf that you have on your site but want to see how I do with the first one.

I have a break thru that I think is jamma. The game is working fine - but I tried to plug in Empire City and it did not work.

I also picked up a Final Blow that I also tried the Empire City in - the board worked, but the 1 player is upside down. I did try to adjust the dips - no luck.
The Final Blow is in great shape and I want to convert it - not sure if I need to flip the monitor or just wait entil I get the elf to see how that works.

Thanks,
Chris in Jersey City

Nixs - got the package -great! Ordered Sunday here Wednesday..

Got the 60 in 1 yesterday...literally plug and play! After researching and thinking I would need a harness adapter and additional aux power I am really happy with this.

My wife loves it...the Ms Pacman is "her" cabinet and she did not fully understand what the 60 in 1 meant.
Easy menu to select games, etc.

It has a crappy control panel. Joystick is sluggish, player 1 button not working (but p2 is) and want to install p1, p2 buttons and maybe figure out a track ball.

The control panel is somehow "permanently" bolted on (maybe locktight or super glue?)- tonights project is to figure out how to get it open and look at the existing wiring.

Nixs - should I send an email about what parts I think I need?

Also, I am trying to figure out if I should get the elf 309 or the 450 gamebox...anyone have any pros/cons of each assuming price difference is not an issue?
I will be converting a Final Blow - cabinet is in excellent shape - no one of my "regulars" really likes the game. The control panel has 2 joy sticks and 3 player buttons for each.
I want to keep it fairly stock - do I need to add 3 more player buttons for each and maybe a track ball? Can I get a decent used replacement control panel?

PS - where should I post these type of questions?
Thanks,
Chris in Jersey City
