I bought a single slot NEOGEO MVS about a month ago from a fellow KLOV'er and I also picked up a Metal Slug cart from them. I have a standard Jamma cab that is a Dynamo HS9A. I have used several other boards and a PC hooked up to the JAMMA harness with no problems. However with the MVS the bios screen sound is fine as well as the test screen tones. When a game boots though it is a loud garbled static over the game sounds and in place of some game sounds. I have made sure the Mono/Stereo switch is set to mono. I have also taken off the only removable chip on the board and re-seated it.
I have contacted the seller about the problem and we decided to wait until my 161 in 1 cart showed up and to test it to see if it was the Metal Slug cart or the MVS. It appears there is something wrong on the MVS board. I have contacted the seller and I am sure he is going to take care of things, but I thought I would post the video of the problem here to see if it might be an easy fix or if the audio amp or something is toast.
Sorry for the video being sideways, I was using my phone and I can never remember which way to hold it.
