yes please record the prices for me too, being eying this auction and the NC for awhile now but 6-7 hr drives each way been kinda delaying my attendance. Plus always seem to have something going on those weekends.

I'll post some stuff later, It's late and I am tired. BUT, I did get a mint Neo Geo for $90 and a Marvel Vs Capcom 2 in nice shape in a Dynamo Cab for $140.

Did you get that Bust-A-Move MVS 2 or the 4 slot? Either way that is an awesome price, congrats!

nice grabs! get anything else? got prices or milk? no rush

No, that was all I got. I really wanted a this Blast City Cab but got outbid on it.

Yea, It was a 2-Slot and the game works great. Monitor wasn't hooked up and the controls /speakers just had a bad ground.

Were you the guy in the castlevania shirt?

Yes, that was me. :)

I got the boards

Since I took my sister's boat I did not have my trailer (damn!) this was one heck of a buyers auction. A lot of the big stuff went really cheap, especially the driving games. Very few pins and they went pretty high. I think the cheapest that was worth anything was a decent Simpson's that went for a grand (i think) I had a Honda Pilot so I was limited on what I could bid on. I did get all the boards that were in the boxes (3 lots) I have not even went through them yet but I will get to it this weekend and let everybody know. I will test teh JAMMA boards to see what works. I did notice a Nintendo cage in one of the boxes and a Capcom pcb in another. I tried to get the poker boards but stopped at $125. I think they sold for $140 per box and the guy took all 3 boxes of them. I think there were about 8 poker boards per box. It was a Jukebox lovers paradise. I counted 51 jukeboxes and 20 of tehm wer either CD or Internet. Not too many touchscreens adn I thought theye were going a little too high. I left after the jukes so I don't know too much about what the vids went for. The mint Discs of Tron (very good conversion) went for $475.00 and seemed to work perfect. There were definitely a lot of deals to be had adn I wish I had my trailer (maybe that was a blessing). I noticed there were a few Super Auction regulars there since Super is out of business. (not officially announced yet) but the is the black guy who is always stoned at SA events in St. Louis was tehre buying up stuff. He outbid me on a wall mount rockola juke I wanted really bad.

I'm going to this one in a few months and have a few questions.

1) How much was the buyers premium?
2) Did the staff help load the machines onto the winners' vehicles?
3) What time do these auctions usually end?
4) Did they have Buy It Now available?

Thank you for anyone that can answer these questions.

AGS usually has 10% buyer's premium (buyer pays +10% fee) minimum is $10.

Local TN sales tax. Not sure what this is. Probably between 5 and 10%

No help loading unless you offer a tip. Bring a hand truck and load it yourself.

Length of auction depends on amount of stuff. I have seen them finish up at 2PM, 4PM, 8PM, even midnight. AGS is notorious for long lines to pay after the auction ends. Expect an hour wait.

No official Buy-it-now. You might be able to track down the seller and offer something more than he's expecting to get if it goes to bid.

In general, I would say to not even TRY to buy anything on your first auction. Just see what it's all about. That said, it's hard to not bid if things are going cheap.

Good luck.

Thanks for the answers. Very helpful. Why do you say not to try and win anything though? I can't imagine driving 5 hours to the auction and 5 hours back with nothing to show for it. I've seen these auctions on youtube, so I know what to expect for the most part.

Best bet would be to bring an interested friend with a truck and tell him you'll pay gas and lunch in exchange for hauling.

The rental trucks I've seen have per mile rates that would kill a 5 hour trip. See if you could rent a pickup truck if that's your desire. Next best thing would be to rent a trailer (cheap $25) if you've got a vehicle with a hitch.

A box van or small rental truck with mileage would probably run you over $300 for your distance.
