Auction: Kingsport, TN - Single thread. Those going and prices for items sold

I can't make the Kingsport, TN auction this weekend and thought I'd start a single thread.

People can say who is going to coordinate breakfast, meetings, etc... and send back pics/prices of items.

Good luck and happy shopping... and don't let Rlevin buy EVERYTHING with his big check from China!!! LOL

There's a bunch of people and trucks here, and the drive was not really a big deal like I thought it would not be...hopefully we get some good stuff here....

RLEvin is in Texas, so he's not attending this auction.

4 semi trucks and still loading

I would love to be there, but the timing was just wrong. :(

I'm posting from the floor of the hotel room... Because there were only two beds, and fuck me.

All I have for pictures is the black berry. So I'll see what I can do for pictures.

What sucks, is I dont think I'm gonna make up early enough to test anything before bidding! Also, for any fellow klovers that are there, I'll be wearing an orange shirt with pacman on it that says "the ataris", one of my favorite bands ;-)

You guys remember I need a Monster Bash pinball and a Qbert so buy it for me and I will make it worth your while

Super PunchOut or Toobin

If there is a Super PunchOut, Tempest or Toobin, and they go cheap... I'm going to be pissed!

YEah, I got a Tempest, Toobin, and SUper Punch Out for $100 for all three!

Actually, a lot of stuff went higher than normal, and they had about 300 games or so as opposed to double that usually...

They had stuff like:

Budweiser Tapper ($850)
Space Duel -$375
BAttlezone Cabaret -$275

Other classics I recall:
Tetris 25 inch-$250
DK Junior (no sound, monitor worked but waved once in awhile)-$125
Power Drift-$125

We picked up 9 games including a change machine and jukebox, but I got two of the pins i wanted...

Glad you got your change machine... I am sure that will come in handy at Game Galaxy. Now are you going to put the jukebox in there too? If so, watch out for ASCAP from a license permit... they have been aggressive in Nashville (read the Tennessean.com about it)

Dude, Where the hell where you. A fat guy with long hair wearing a T-Shirt that says "Your sister is hot, but your mother does that thing with her tongue" thats bidding on all the pinballs should not be that hard to find. Tell the truth RLEVIN. Are you a ninja? You must have dropped down from the ceiling by zip lines when you saw something you wanted to bid on. Your like big foot. Everyone says you exist, but no one has actually seen you. Come to think about it. I didn't see any indicators of KLOV members any where to be found so sorry I missed you stiffs. But it looks like most never made it. Next time, I will have to coordinate better as I would like to meet a couple of you guys.

As for what sold, and what was interesting, you could probably put all that on 2 hands. I recall a Space duel that went 375. The DKjr was cheap but in poor working order IMO. The tapper was pretty nice and wasn't a real Budweiser Tapper. A very nice Circus Voltaire sold for 3100. My friend picked up that Battlezone mini for 350(he thinks). Helped another friend take home a revenge from mars that he picked up for 2K. One of my techs picked up a Godzilla pin for 950. As for a Qbert being at the auction, mine was in the truck working without sound with a complete set of spare boards and most of the parts to fix it. And I would have sold it to get it out of my hair. Now its at my tech (the one who bought Godzilla). So hopefully, I won't get that pain in my ass back for about 6 months.

update. the monitor is now fixed. there was a bad solder on the monitor that was exposed and cobwebs had stuck to it. cleared that off and now no more waves! Now on to the sound. any ideas?
