I go to these auctions
Hey everyone anytime there is an auction at Michael Angelo auctions I go there and pick up a few things. So if anyone can not make it, I can get a game for ya and throw it on my truck to take to my warehouse, I am just two exits up. Here is the scoop on these auctions though. Michael who runs the auction charges a 15% buyers premium online and I think its a 13% premium at the auction. I always get there right at 8:30 to test games I want. TRUST ME YOU HAVE TO! Sure some games will flip on but everyone knows about a 1000 more issues could come up, bad roms, controls, etc. The pins there were mostly in bad shape and I can not believe they sold like they did (BROKEN) However revenge from mars and Baywatch were in pretty good shape, I am taking mine up next time. Anyway there were two distributors there jacking up the prices most of the time, but some went for a steal. Some of the showcases that went for a few hundred were mostly not working, so I would not even do the online bidding unless you went and checked games yourself. As far as pinball's I know the guy who does the repairs on them before the auction starts and he gave me the scoop on the best ones at the auction. Later guys
