I just reread the 6300 manual and it does say what the switches do. sorry for asking....

OK the switch says "open" on one side and the other side has 1-2-3-4. Mine has 1 and 2 facing the numbers and 3 and 4 at open. Am I correct in saying that open is off and the number side is on?
