After a year and a half, I am bumping my own thread. Based upon all of the great pictures, I have been able to determine some of the modifications made to my Spectar mini cabinet. In a nutshell, the monitor mounts/supports were removed. However, the existing monitor shelf is still present, just in a different location. Fortunately, they did not mess with the Game PCB and Color PCB mounting locations / wood.
While the other side of the cabinet, where the ISO and power supply mount was also changed, I got lucky. When acquiring this converted cabinet from the operator, I also found the two aforementioned power blocks. When matching the screw holes on that side of the cabinet with the drilled holes in the power block's wood, the Condor power block lines-up beautifully. Based upon that, I should be able to get the above and below mounting wood back in place.
If anyone is willing to assist, the following is the information and pictures I still need. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
- The red, in-line fuse holder is factory? I see that in multiple pictures, but assumed it was hacked-in by the operator on mine, since mine has wire nuts, rather than the crimp-on connectors.
- Please confirm there is "y" splitter for the 120v AC coming in from the wall? If so, what do to the ends of the "y" look like (3-pin males or females?) and are attach to, such as one to the power block and one to the iso, both to the power block, etc?
- What does the iso attach to and what do those connectors look like? I assume the monitor with a 2-pin connector? I'm just trying to layout the power flow.
- Please show the wood supports above and below the power block and ISO, including their lengths.
- Please show the wood supports around the monitor wood "tray". As my mounts are totally gone, I am trying to determine how they mounted to the tray, the lengths and widths of the wood that butted-up again the monitor "tray". Above, behind, and in front of (is there anything below the wooden tray?) the tray.
- Please show the wood supports on both sides of the cabinet that support the left and right sides of the monitor. Again, all of this is gone in my cabinet, so I need length, widths, and pictures showing how they butted each piece of wood again another.
- Looking at the front of the game, does the control panel sit on top of the bezel or bump up against it. Luis Camayd was kind enough to send pictures of the front of the game with the CP and bezel removed, but I cannot tell if the CP sits on the bottom of the bezel? Additionally, it looks like the wood supports that the CP and bezel sit on (on both the left and right sides of the cabinet) are both at the exact same angle. But if that is the case, then I suspect the CP does sit on the bottom of the bezel.
- Is the bezel just tinted plexi-glass? If so, can someone please provide the dimensions?
Thank you for your assistance.
