Attaching a cup holder using command adhesive?

Command adhesive? Is that like ordinance tape?

I don't know what ordinance tape is, command adhesive is a Scotch brand (3M) product. Originally it was used to hang hooks on drywall without damagin the wall when you remove. It is a strip of foam double sided tape with a pull tab at the bottom. You attach it to the hook, then press it to the wall. Whenyou want to remove, you pull the tab at the bottom and the tape loses it adhesion ad the hook removes with no damage. These strips canbe used for all kind of things you want to attach. I just wondered if anyone ever used it for a cup holder on a cabinet.

I just use a table. Then again, I don't get that thirsty to have a cup attached to a cab. Maybe a beer helmet? ;)

Maybe you can use one of those car cup holders - the kind that have the hanger that fits into the gap between the window and the door, and hang that off the side of the control panel. Wedge the plastic bit into the gap between the control panel and the edge of the cabinet.

We remove cup holders here Sir. Put a little shelf on the wall next to the game. :)

LOL, I would never think of it on my Galaga or MVS, but this is just a PVG/SEMCO Marvel Vs. Capcom cabinet. Also I want to afix it temporarly using command adhesive. I suppose I suspend a cupholder from the ceiling. I wasn't going to ruin anything. Also this cabinet is solid black on the sides, no side art, and nothing undeneath.

I was thinking the same thing, but I want to respect the cabinet, I will hang the holder from the ceiling. If I had a little table near by I would so know it over. I have already done so 3 times in the past month. Getting tired of water on the floor.
