As you might have noticed in another thread, there are lots of pirate Atomiswave games about so I suggest you take a picture of your cartridges and post them in the forum (you can use imageshack.us to host them, so you have no excuse of not being able to).

You also may want to open your User CP and enter in where you are too :p

Do the people who sell the multi mvs carts on here have to open them up also?

How about the Multi Jamma Arcade pcbs?

How about the Capcom 18 in 1?

If not no more hypocritical posting in this thread.

The games are priced accordingly.

Not to sound like a DICK or anything. Or maybe I do.

But do you guys also shit on peoples posts when they list Multi Jamma , Multi Neo and Multi Capcom boards for sale? Even Older Arcade bootlegs?

Some of those SNK games on the Neo Geo Multi Carts are newer then the Atomiswave games.

Seems to me a bit hypocritical.

If you are going to do it to someone selling "BOOTLEGS" blow up everyones spot not just who you think you should.

So next time you see someone post a UNOFFICIAL PRODUCT list where to get it from and post as much bad press about it as possible. Because that is trendy to do.

Just do not single out one kind of product. Take them all on otherwise you are a hypocrite.

I expect there would be less concern if the games above were identified as "bootleg" or "unofficial" I see no such claim on your sale post. Multi-jamma etc are all known, no one buying one is expecting a legit product. With these Atomiswave carts, there are legit versions out there and they are pricey, people need to know what they are buying.

Post updated stating some of the games are conversions.

But which ones are conversions specifically. I wouldn't know even if they are "priced accordingly".

Also, short temper much? Noone asked you to do anything unreasonable.

The ethical thing is to state which games are boots and which aren't. You compare to people posting multigames, though that is an apples/oranges comparison. The buyer is fully aware of what they are buying when they buy a multigame. As for MVS, yes, a new seller would be advised to post photos of their MVS carts... you're not REQUIRED to do so, but it surely would be advantageous of you... that is unless the person selling is looking to pass off boots as authentic. That wouldn't be you now would it?

Just be forthright with what you have and people will buy or not.

EDIT: Thanks for updating your post to indicate the "conversions"...

I never said you had to open them, a good picture would have have shown the serial numbers which are the easiest way to tell if they are bootlegs (they are not conversions as they are commercial pirated games).

Also going back to your other points, if someone tried to sell say a Hyper Street Fighter 2 CPS board or an expensive MVS cartridge then I would ask for evidence that it was real unless stated otherwise. Atomiswave cartridges are less obvious that they are bootlegs, so a simple picture will show what is and is not a bootleg. Ditto if someone offered a Sega Naomi with a number of games at a cheap price, you would want to know if they are compact flash copies or real games.

The xx in 1 games are common knowledge that they are commercial pirates and no one would be thick enough to think otherwise.
