Came out of an Orca cab have a circuit been like this since i got it

the left side is folding over as you can see when width adjusted it seems to pivit over at a point about 1" out to the left side

all caps replaced flyback turned up for pics

there's 2 transistors could that be it?

if not what part of the circuit should i start to look at?

thanks in advance

Turn brightness down on flyback and/or monitor chassis depending on what monitor that is. Those white lines will either decrease or disappear.

You're also trying to run a vertical game horizontally. Never personally tried that and not sure how that'd effect the display? You didn't specify what PCB is hooked up. Is it a DK boardset or is that a multi board?
The DK boardset has two adjustment pots on the top edge.

You really need to either post the actual model # of the monitor or a picture of the monitor chassis itself..

The picture you did post is a pretty sure sign you need to do a cap kit though. I realize you state a cap kit was already done but did the previous owner tell you that or did you do it yourself? If you did it yourself who did you get the cap kit from? Not all kits are equal.

Its a vertical monitor running DK boardset and clay cowgill adaptor
this doesnt matter though its a problem with something bad on the chassis

I turned the flyback up a bit to show the problem, line goes away when turned down

It has a cap kit installed all caps it didnt solve the problem

Looks like that part number pulls two manufacturers. Ati and Algol CR-M-19VH.
Either way - you state all caps were replaced. Did you do this or are you taking someones word on it? I don;t see any cap kits for this monitor and unless you or someone else pulled each cap and ordered them individually it could be an incorrect value some where. As I also stated I have no idea what running a vertical game horizontally would cause for side effects. Are you using Cowgills JAMMA switcher setup or one of his older boards that has the audio amp on it?

And btw - just because you installed a new cap doesn't mean it can't be bad. Why rare it does happen.

audio amp color inverter

I replaced all caps got most from bob in the form of 2 kits+

i have the schematic and checked all caps correct value

The problem hasnt changed at all i cant get anywhere with it

For some apparent reason the pictures made me think you are running a vertical game horizontally. I looked at the pictures again and that doesn't appear to be the case sorry. By chance do you have a JAMMA board handy - to eliminate the possibility of the Cowgill board or the DK board being the issue??

yep have 60 in 1's and had someone else look at it they re-flowed all the caps

Well if Ken Layton doesn't have a manual or scat maybe user Modessit has worked on one of these before. The crappy part is not having a replacement flyback available when that craps out unless you can find a donor chassis it's junk. Send it off to someone and they'll charge ~$100.00 and still have the issue of no replacement flybacks.

Sorry I can't be of much help at this point but have you considered just ordering a new Wei-ya chassis? ~$70 shipped.

Is there a vertical position/vertical shift potentiometer or jumper of any sorts on that chassis ?

If you shrink the image will it center vertically ? (width wise visually in your case)

with a vertically mounted monitor...
Vertical - left and right
Horizontal - up and down

no jumpers

it centers when shrank

i have one of these that came out of an Orca cabinet as well. ATI (or Algol Technologies Incorporated) is actually the same company as ATI the video card manufacturer, as far as i can tell.

mine is a lot worse off than yours. it has vertical collapse and flashes full screen briefly every second or so, and i think it's permanently out of focus. between that and the burn on the tube i'm probably going to junk the whole thing.

i also have the original manual i bought before i decided it's probably not worth fixing.

you're welcome to both for a small fee (mostly for the manual) + shipping, if you're interested.

any way this can be a transistor?

i dont want to order them if it cant be it

I've never been able to locate manuals/schematics for this monitor. However, I have found a picture of the front cover of the service manual.

I used a Wei-ya 1820HR chassis (a.k.a. Pro Max C1000) universal chassis to replace this CR-M-19VH pic of shit chassis. The ATI / Algol / ChungHwa chassis uses a high impedance yoke (50 ohms vertical and 2 ohms horizontal) just like an Electrohome G07.
