I got a monitor out of asteroids I think based on light screen burn, is there a easy way to test it? I have no vector games. If anyone in so cal can test it or is looking for one let me know. It looks fairly clean light burn all the boards look good though but the guy I got it from is unsure on working condition.

Whatever you do, don't try to test it in a non-vector game. Somebody around you should have a game you can test it in. It helps if they have a test cable so that they don't have to stretch their harness out of their cabinet. You can test it in just about any B&W vector game with a few exceptions due to the harness. Do you know which model it is? G05-802, G05-801 (not likely), or WGV2000

yes

It is a g05-801 I'm mostly interested in selling it or trading it. I don't have any vectors or room to store one for a rainy day. But I'd like to know if it works to list it correctly.

You should list it here for sale. Don't bother trying to repair it. These are a pain but are the correct monitor for a Lunar Lander. Obviously if you can get someone to test it that would be great but the wiring is different for a 801 than the 802 and v2000. IF there is a forum member close to you with a LL or an early asteroids with the correct hookup or the Bob Roberts adapter, they could test it for you. Don't chuck it please.
