I have about a half dozen of these big heavy transformer/power supplies that are on the bottom of the cabinet of most older Atari games, I took them out of some games like Asteroids, Centipede etc, I don't think they are all interchangeable, some slight variations on pin outs etc, before I throw these out are they worth anything ? I'm sure they aren't going to be cheap to ship and I'm not sure I can verify which game they came out of anymore.
TIA

Yeah they're worth a few bucks. IIRC the raster bricks usually have all 15 pins in the upper left molex connector where the vectors are missing some pins.

we talking $20 each? 30? 40? LMK and and i'll post them in the F.S section, thanx for the pic-out tip, i'll check that out, if anyone wants one LMK
thanx again

Shipping shouldn't be too much of a problem, you can fit them in a USPS Large Flat rate box and I think that ships for around $15 within the US.

I'd guess these would sell for $40 shipped, maybe more for some if they can be verified to come from rare games like Quantum.

Pretty sure quantum brick is standard color vector brick

I am not saying there is anything special about a Quantum brick... I am saying that some collectors will pay more for a Quantum brick because of its lineage. The same is true of certain classic car collectors and engine blocks.

I wouldn't personally pay more since I only care if my games play correctly and I just want them to work...

$40 shipped in a large flat rate box is what I charge. You can go to Alex Yeckley's site and get the application info:

Be sure to list the transformer part number with the accompanying photo. I don't ever throw out bricks. I have a stack of about 10 in my garage in various states of disrepair. Some bricks fit multiple applications. The atari color brick fits everything. There are just subtle differences in them as some have extra connectors (that can be easily added) to allow for additional power outs for things like fans and marquee lights. Star Wars uprights come to mind.

Ok I won't throw them out, I'll take pictures of them, make sure they fit in a flat rate box and try to sell them for $40 shipped, thanx for the all the info.
