Atari Tempest: Fully working and has the Tubes mod. This has one of the last brand new CRT tubes that Richardson Electronics had in stock. It has less than 5 hours of use and absolutely no burn at all. The cab shows its usual wear and tear, especially at the bottom and back at the tops (see pics). A new CPO and marquee overlay would really make it look good. I have a new roll of leather t-molding I will add, and if I can find it, the original manual. The spinner works good and has the usual brrrr to it. The on-off switch has been moved so it is accessible from the coin door instead of the back of the cabinet. Asking $1800. I have some wiggle room on this, but after the new tube and board mods, not much so no low-balls please.

This is located in Bethalto Illinois about 25 minutes from St Louis. Pickup is prefered, but I can ship if you make all the arrangements. It is in a basement and weighs a ton so bring some help as I just had surgery and cannot assist moving it. Please message with questions. Please only interested parties only. I do not have time for tire kickers or ghosters. Thanks for looking.

Good luck with the sale and take your time to heal too!

That game board looks like a very early one of mine. I recognize my own work.

If so, it would be from around 9 years ago. I do have a record that I sold you one, but it was so long ago, it was before I was recording serial numbers. But the way that mod is wired, the handwriting on the ROM, and the way the pots are replaced, looks like my hand.

If so, good to see it still kicking. If anyone buys this and has problems with the board, I'll fix it cheap for ya. (Call it an extended warranty.)

GLWTS!

Very nice machine! :)

Out of curiosity - the dark blue on the Attract Mode screen looks different than what I'm used to seeing. Specifically, I am referring to the dark blue that comprises the High Score Table and Copyright line. It looks closer to the Cyan that is below in the "Bonus Every 10000" line. Is it the camera flash, dust on the inside of the bezel glass, or ambient lighting conditions? Is that unique to the Tubes Attract Mode? Ideas or thoughts? Again - just curious as I have never seen that shade of blue on our unmodified (no Tubes) Tempest 6100's.

Wow! Almost worth it just for the "gold dust" pristine CRT. Wish I was closer.

Bump for a great game...I do have my remaining parts and games listed here as well, so if you are looking for anything, check out my other threads as I am getting rid of everything now.
