SOLD!!!
For Sale:
Working Atari Tempest. Picked this up awhile back but it has just been sitting collecting dust. Game works and plays. Occasionally resets but if you wiggle the interconnect cable, it works(cold solder joints). Appears to be all numbers matching. Has nice side art. Control panel overlay is in good condition. Spinner works just fine.
Now for the not so good...
Cabinet has some swelling on the left and right bottoms. Possibly fixable with some wood hardener, glue, and some big clamps. When I first got it, I clamped it just for shits and got the sides to suck back in pretty good. However that is as far as I went. Marquee overlay also needs to be replaced. Was barely hanging on when I got it. Currently has wrong coin door but I have an atari door for it.
Its gonna need new marquee overlay, cold solder joints on board headers reflowed(better yet, replaced), WG6100 rebuilt, and a good cleaning for sure.
Asking $450 cash. Might have a manual for it too.
Pictures below and yes, the shelf that holds the speaker and marquee light is included. Just was not installed. And the white marks on the front of cabinet is tape residue.
