I feel like I am getting close to putting together one of my old favorites here but on powering up in test mode I get an interrupt failure message.

At least I could be encouraged that my failure shows up in a familiar font!
Reading through the manual it appears that it has passed a ROM check but hangs on the next step here.
Board level repair is not a feather I have in my cap yet- and may never- but I think I may be trainable yet still.
This may not be the game/boardset to learn on either but I would like to give it a try to check what I can without risking destroying anything- in the case that I need to send this to someone who understands things at this depth.

Any direction from anyone on where I could begin or should I just send these to someone smarter than me?
