Picked up a System I cab today (with a roadblaster board/CP). Price was right (Trailer + Travel/gas + free). Previous owner took it apart to MAME it, so its in pieces. There is a switcher PS in it, but the original one is there (mostly).

ANyone have pictures on how all of it is supposed to be connected together?

There are a couple of different power supply/motherboard/audio regulator combos. I have the newer version and it sounds like you might have the older version so I am not sure how much my photos will help.

The manuals also have some good illustrations:

http://arcarc.xmission.com/PDF_Arcade_Atari_Kee/System_1/Atari_System_TM-27_ 1st_Printing.pdf (older cabinet)

http://arcarc.xmission.com/PDF_Arcade_Atari_Kee/System_1/Atari_System_TM-286_1st_Printing.pdf (newer cabinet version)

http://arcarc.xmission.com/PDF_Arca...rs_TM-298_1st_Printing_for_System_1_Games.pdf (Newer cabinet and RoadBlasters specific parts)

There are more photos on posts that have the "atari system 1" tag (yes, tags can be used for more than just insults!)

Looks very similar to mine, although I dont think mine has the power switch, I will check.

Can you take a picture of the Power supply itself?

If you do not have the "Big Blue" then you do have the newer version like mine. The power supply photo from the other post is about as good as I can get with my camera.

Red = +5V
Brown = Ground
White = AC
Black = AC

The red/white and brown/white on mine are not connected but arcadefan17 from the other post showed that his are connected to +5V and Ground respectively in the photo below.

Hooked everything up tonight and the game fired right up. :)

Love it when a free game actually works...

Now I need to figure out how to fiddle with the steering wheel and pedal as they seem off.
