I just got done with a Galaga restoration where I replaced the bottom ~1 foot of it due to water intake and swelling and I have moved to my next project, an Atari System 1 restoration. This is a Roadblasters that had all the art removed and replaced with... other stuff. I removed all of the aftermarket artwork and might replace it with vertical grade Formica with the original Atari sideart, haven't decided yet. Anyway, after doing some searching it looks like these cabinets can compress a little bit and it looks like that's what happened here. The front panel that holds the coin door has had a little bit of damage or compression so I'd *like* to pull it out and replace it. Problem is after removing all of the (factory and drywall) screws holding it in, it's still glued. Is there a way to get this out of here without damaging it? Am I doing too much? I'd like to take it out and use it as a router template for a replacement, but the glue is holding pretty steady, there's not a good way to get behind the panel to knock it out, and I'm afraid I'll bust it up hammering too hard. It's not really visible but the cracks in the panel are slightly bowed out from the compression.
