I'm wiring up an Atsari Gauntlet and I am trying to remember how the wiring for the switching power supply was.
There are six connections:
2 red wires (+5 volts)
2 brown wires (Ground)
1 red/white wire (+ sense)
1 brown/white wire (- sense)

I'm almost positive that the + sense and - sense were +5 volts as well.
Can someone please clerify this for me.
Thanks

red (+5 volts)
brown (Ground)
red/white (+ Sense)
brown/white (- Sense)

Looks correct.
I just leave the sense wires disconnected on my APB.

On some games you can leave them disconnected, on others you hook the -sense to ground and the +sense to 5v.

Basically the way it works is, the power sends 5v to the board, then the board sends the 5v back to the power board on the +sense line. The power supply sends 'ground' to the board and then the board sends the ground back to the power board on the -sense line. The power supply then measures the two, and adjusts the power to make them correct in relation to ground and +5. So it's like a way to auto adjust the power supply.

Since the sense lines actually kind of are for the power supply, you usually don't have to hook them up.
