Atari "SUPERSHIP", ever heard of it????

Sweet, it worked! I'll have to do that more often!

I did not buy this yet as I am not sure the game play is too interesting. He described it to me and it sounded kinda like Galaxian, but I would imagine less play-interesting as I have never even heard of this game before. That may be the only good thing about it!

Got photos of the gameplay? LOOKING at it I'm going to venture to guess "bootleg"... BTW...what gives you the impression it's from Atari?

I saw one of these at a Columbus Auction many years ago. It was an unremarkable vertical shooter, in a converted Qix cab.

Kyle

Pretty sure that's a Vanguard bootleg or another bootleg in a former Vanguard cabinet.

You guys are good! REAL GOOD!

Is it ATARI? I was told it was but no indication of it in the photo nor was he able to send me more photos as it is "in storage". It can't be an Atari, he is just confused. They may all look like "Atari" to him from what I gathered.

I guess the real ?'s are who made the bootleg of what game and all the pretty cool artwork that runs from the CP up and continues into the bezel....

Looking more closely, it's not a Vanguard cab. There aren't enough buttons on the CP for Vanguard, and there's too much room below the speaker where that extra artwork is above the bezel. But the bezel that's in there, while not stock for the Centuri Vanguard, was commonly seen on Vanguard cabinets.

Maybe it's a bootleg Scramble or Super Cobra? Looks like there's a button missing on the CP on the right side.

He's asking too much for it either way. And he's high to think that old TV with 2 $19.99 plug & play joysticks from Namco (that he probably got at CVS) is woth close to that.

I'd avoid this clown if I was you, seems sketchy...unless you REALLY want that game.
