cool

cool looking game, Whats the year of release?
Can't say I have seen this machine, But then again I'm not as versed in machines as a lot of members here :)

I remember that sale, I tried to get one but the sell never responded to any of my PMs....
I sent many to no avail........
Is the game shipped in one piece or two?
Jeff

Nice machine, I remember when the guy sold a bunch of those NIB.
I would have to consider that like a new car. When you drive it off the lot, you know what happens. I have considered buying machines that were new in original packaging. If I bought a NIB machine. I would plan to keep that machine forever, because once its removed from the package it goes down in value!!

Anyway Im not Price police, JMO!!! Good luck with you sale :)

I don't know man, $1400 is fairly reasonable for NIB and if it is mint as it appears, I think it's still pretty collectible. But what do I know...

Its not New in Box anymore. Mint would be the term now, well I assume its mint. If I purchased a machine like this, I would leave it in the box. I think thats the main reason I did not buy one. I did consider it, but I knew if I did it would sit in a box in the corner. Its a fun game Blindog has one, I have played a few times. Dont get me wrong Sav, Im not price police. Just my opinion. [admin prune]

Now if I bought a NIB Robotron or something like that I would open it, because that would be a machine that I would never part with.

fully agree, its not NIB now, and its a worse economy. although its not affecting my sales, [admin prune] If you keep it for many years in that condition, you will get full price or more though

Agree if its kept mint, value should increase over the years.

I'm not looking for that particular game, but if a mint, unmolested game that I wanted came my way I'd throw down $1400 in a heartbeat. New in Box or not, I think that's a good deal for someone who wants that particular game.

Since these games were all built to go into to Arcades (where they were abused) its very rare to have one that has not seen action in the wild. It's even rarer to have one that's avoided even home use for 30+ years.

Still a fair price considering you can buy the game with the original box it came in from the factory, opened or not.

like the Robotron cabarets that came out of the same warehouse, there are a number of these NIB Subs (in box or out) running around the NW and unfortunately the relative availability of what should be a very rare game makes it less valuable. although i think it's pretty fun, especially as a 2-player game, Subs isn't a particularly popular title and finding a buyer at that price might be difficult. if it were on the East coast or somewhere with less saturation it may be easier.

i've helped Blinddog move his cabinet and i'm pretty sure it's all one piece.

You're 100% clueless.

thank you jamburglar...

this things is friggin perfect and looks like it rolled off the assembly line this morning. no coins thru the mechs, no cob webs inside, no dinged corners, no broken plastic....it even smells new inside. i am just trying to sell a game and not have everyone tell me that i am charging too much. go find a nicer one for less money if this one costs too much.

i had to get it out of the box cause the anticipation was killing me. it sat for 3-4 months before i finally caved and let it see the light of day. i was also nervous as to what i might find inside but was relieved when all looked good. you never know when you buy something site unseen. the box was definately showing its age but the game is perfect. there is one tiny tiny tiny scratch below the coin door that must have happened during assembly or packing.......otherwise it is PERFECT!

I will agree with the OP's pricing.

To compare an arcade game to a vehicle is an absolute joke as is saying "you take a big hit" when removed from the box. So, if you leave it in the box, and you sell it to only find out both neck boards are snapped (from shipping), or the fucker doesn't work its still worth $1400? Come on. Like he said, don't like the price? Go find one as nice for cheaper. Wont happen. End of story.

I purchased one of these also NIB...honestly folks..who really cares about what you think its worth or not..this isn't an opinion post..the guys trying to sell a super rare piece either buy it or move on..this site has really just gone down hill...there are plenty of areas on forum for price debate..someones "for sale post" is not...and those who say I'm just saying...or whatever..you know as soon as you post its going to start a shit storm..so don't do it...by the way I paid $1500 for mine..and its still in box..but only because I'm saving it and a few other NIB games I got for a nice get together with some other gamers to open together when I finish constructing my new building...Good luck with the sale..the right buyer will come along at some point.
