OK folks...for some time now i've had a Stun Runner that i've been slowly Restoring..

i picked up a spare set of boards that supposedly had the same issues as my boards..so i got them dirt cheap (was worth it trust me) anyhow after cleaning and testing the mainboards on both sets they work fine..so then i tested audio boards...those were perfect....so i then tested the ADSP Boards...seems on both boards i get the "ADSP time Out ERROR" on both ...now i DO get the attract Screen and i do get game audio when i credit and start it..but as soon as it tries to show the game graphics..the machine has epilepsi and restarts over and over again.... so i do know it's the Boards... MY Question to all the Techs That Have Dealt With ADSP boards...since i've never had this Issue before this " do all ADSP boards Always have Bad DSP 2100 Chips Or Is IT the Ram Chips That Make These Damn THings Go Nuts?.

I REALLY REALLY Could Use ANY AND ALL HELP FROM ANYONE who Knows About The Issues With the ADSP Boards.. i'm not someone who normally begs..but i really don't wanna spend month and months trying to figure out board isses.

THANK YOU TO Any Info I Get.

LORD HELP ME!

END OF LINE.

Daniel.

Per Jed Margolin's site:
The ADSP Board uses an Analog Devices ADSP-2100 in a Pin-Grid Array (PGA) package.

The ADSP II Board is identical to the ADSP Board except it uses the ADSP-2100 in the Plastic-Quad-Flat-Pack (PQFP) package.

ADSP and ADSP II Boards are electrically and mechanically equivalent.

Maybe ask him about failure modes.
