The game is clean and solid working condition. It has a WG monitor and a VectorLabs Empire Strikes Back kit.

The only known issue is that the game resets when you turn the yoke all the way to the right. Game plays great otherwise. Serviced about 4 years ago including the monitor and connectors.

$2000 firm. No trades.

Nice lookin' game and price is about right, IMHO.
Worth buying just to get it and debug/fix that minor yoke issue. Interesting. :)

Haha. Yeah, for some reason, when you turn it all the way to the right to a stop, it resets. I'm assuming something with the yoke wiring that's causing it to short? Never was an issue for me when playing, but I'm no expert SW player.

You know I'd really like to jump on this SW, but it just bugs me the cracked off corner wasn't disclosed.

To me, that killed off the interest (or most of it anyway).

To me, I would want to know if a SW I was buying had such an cosmetic issue/defect.. But thats just me.

Apologies for not disclosing that. I didn't give the background on the game, but did mention in the Norcal forum. I'm selling on behalf of a friend who is no longer active on KLOV like myself. I've had this game in my possession, but never really inspected it or played it much. When I posted this listing, I just snapped a couple of shots and didn't think to check for damage, so that's my mistake. It's not something I was trying to hide. Those that know me here (including local guys) know that I'm not one to try to pull a fast one and I have been a reputable seller since I first got into this back in '09.

So instead of make snarky comments and try to call me out with my own CL photos, a simple "I noticed there's corner damage in one of your other photos, what's that about?" would have sufficed.

Were you seriously interested? If so, that corner damage doesn't change my (or my friend's) mind on the price. It's still a solid, working cab and in better condition overall than most SW cabs I've seen that haven't been restored.

I think its a great example of a SW machine! A small chip in that corner is so common and easily repairable! I'm a purist, and this a beautiful example of a classic! If I was closer, I would snap this up.

Good luck with the sale, all the best.

No snarkiness intended. Not trying to question your rep or anything it was just one of those collector "perfection" types of things. I was very interested and was about to click the Reply button to see about buying. You'll sell this just fine in no time.

No worries, dude.

Sale pending.

As with many others, if I were closer I would check this thing out. I am curious if you narrow the screen adjustment a bit, does it still reset when you yoke to the right. I guess I am not following if it resets immediately or does it reset if you hold it right and resets once the crosshairs get to the edge of the screen. It sounds like a wire is crossing but worst case I was thinking of a voltage shutdown on the monitor.

It resets immediately if the yoke is all the way to the right, not when the crosshairs hit the right side.

Oh. Well I have not rebuilt a Star Wars yoke but I have rebuilt paperboy which is similar. Paperboy has 2 pots which are basically variable resistors. Maybe one of them is bad (assuming the design is the same) when it is maxed out. They are pretty cheap to replace. Good luck.

I'd say one of the red +5v wires are shorting when the yoke is turned all the way. Try unplugging its harness to see if it stops. If so, test continuity at the plug going into the yoke between each of the red wires and ground as you turn it.
