Atari space riders pinball machine, no sound or score though display works

I have an ATARI SPACE RIDERS PINBALL MACHINE THAT SEEMS TO WORK OTHER THEN IT HAS NO GAME SOUND AND THE SCORE DOESN'T REGISTER. BUT THE DISPLAY SEEMS TO WORK FINE. I HAVE CHECKED ALL THE FUSES, disconnected and reconnected all the molex connectors. What could be the problem? Please help

Do you have the schematic available through IPBD. That is a good place to start in order to run the built in tests.
There are several possibilities for the root of your problems and it is difficult to speculate all of the options without actually being there.
The AUX board is where the A/D conversions take place for the audio and it may need new caps and transistors.

The Aux power board is also responsible for the power for both the Audio and Display. If the displays are working but not registering then the problem is in the main PCB or connections.
Unfortunately without running the self tests and taking some measurements, there are too many variables to troubleshoot through this forum. Hopefully someone else will have run into these exact problems before and can guide you a little better. Let me know if there's something else you would like me to look into.

Good Luck!
