Atari Showcase 33 left speaker grill & glass bracket

I picked up an Atari Showcase 33 at auction on the cheap, it's functionally sound, but is missing the left speaker grill and the left bracket for the monitor glass. I ask for both because I can't tell if they're all one piece or not.

I think the Atari and Dynamo showcases are different, mine says Atari and is like a greyish color.

thanks.

anything that can be fabricated?

I could use the one speaker grill I have as a pattern, buy up some mesh material to shape to it. glass bracket I guess you could just take some angle iron, cut it to length.

any ideas resident crafty folk? :)

It would probably cost too much to fabricate, though if you are willing to spend THAT much a cheaper option would be to go to the next Super Auctions and pick up another entire showcase for $40-$50 :)

I know, I'm kicking myself for letting one of those get away. I could've had a UMK3 one for $25 too >:0

last ditch bump!

I could fabricate some of these with perforated metal mesh.

I went to Menards today on the hunt for said material and I came up empty.

anyone know where I can find something like this?

next super auction is up in Milwaukee, in December. need something quick. :(

Damn that sucks I parted/trashed a showcase about 3 months ago for the monitor and coinbox. I know I kept some parts. I'll check to see if I have what you're looking for. If I have the parts you can have them for whatever it costs to ship them.

The can I parted was a Dynamo and I kept the Atari cab. They are the same as I replaced the Atari CP with the Dynamo one due to the better condition.

I think the Dynamo's monitor section is taller, cause it allots for rotation. oh well, could always cut it down too I guess.

I wish I could replace the CP. mine's set for Alien vs. Predator, 3 players, REALLY hating myself for not getting that UMK3 when I could've. blargh

Call a speaker repair shop. Whom ever you talk with, send he/she an email with that picture. You'll be amazed at what those guys can find and do. If they can;t match it they could probably fab two identical ones up for you.

Sorry no speaker grill but I do have both brackets for the glass. I also have the old CP. The reason I replaced mine is because the MDF border broke on one side. I could have reproduced the part but since I got another Showcase it was easier to use the better of the two. If you're just looking for the metal CP I believe the one I pulled is set in a fighting game configuration. I'll try to take a pic. You can have that as well too. Don't know how much shipping would be though since it's pretty big and oddly shaped.

If you do a search for perforated metal you can get some from a place like this
http://www.sureflowequipment.com/custom-engineered/page19.cfm
http://www.perforate.com/

Also check lowes they have a section with metal rod and plates and angle iron and there you should find some sheets of this material also.
