Hey all, I'm thinking of picking up an Atari Roadblasters, but the guy said that it has to be "reset" every few days because the difficulty level keeps increasing on it's own to the point where it's too hard. He said it does this because it's on Freeplay.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Thanks.

Freeplay wouldn't have that effect. There is an option for "Rally 50 contest", which might explain what you are seeing.

First thing you could do is go into the settings and have it Reset it to factory defaults.

Thanks for the help, but I don't have it yet. I didn't think Freeplay would affect it either. He did say it needs to be reset every week or so.

Oh well, it's in good condition, and only $150, probably worth the expense.
