Nintendo started as a company making Hana Fuda cards. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanafuda The set of Hana Fuda cards we have, bought maybe 5 years ago, was made by nintendo, so while it's a minor portion of their business they're still pumping them out.

Each card suit is a different game. Clubs--Millipede Hearts--Asteroids Diamonds--Breakout Spades--Centipede I thought it was lame they did both Centipede & Millipede when there are so many other games in their library. Oh well....still pretty cool though. She said they were about $5.00.
