Atari Night Driver complete fiberglass cockpit version

What is the going rate one of these bad boys?

It varies. A lot.

A collector's piece with an intact bottom could fetch a premium price. Maybe $400-600?

I've had 2 in varying conditions that were complete, but bottomless. I paid $80 for one and $50 for another. IIRC both were working.

I've seen these sell, but it's usually low. Maybe $150 one time and $300 another time.

When the bottom is missing (molded in with fiberglass and attached to wood blocking bolted to more fiberglass) or there are condition issues these are a mighty PITA to fix up.

I think a pair of them sold cheap within the last year - Bakersfield or somewhere thereabouts . I remember because I wanted to buy them but missed out . I don't remember condition , complete , working , etc .... but they were one klov so a search should turn them up .

I wonder if these were made by the same whoever that made the Computer Space fiberglass cabs.

I'd think the coolness factor would make them worth more than 600, but I've never been in the market for one (or even really paid attention to them, if they've even come up for sale.) I do think they're pretty neat though.

You gotta wonder what warehouse in CA or wherever those cabs were cast in, and whatever happened to the molds...

I wouldn't mind finding another one myself. Even if it were a *little* pricey. It's a simple, but unique game. Makes you feel kinda bad ass when you make a long run at full throttle.

Are you doing a price check because you are a potential buyer or potential seller?
If your a potential seller I would make you a pretty strong offer :D

If your the buyer, hope you get it really neat game and supper cool cab.

i sold one to grinkers along with a super bug not too long ago kinda cheap.

Well, if its complete and in decent shape please keep me in mind.
Depending on condition and what not I would be a serious buyer.
Cheers

I looked it up - I was mistaken . It was a pair of cockpits with some parts for sale in Texas not Cali . Both cabs for $100 . Great deal .
