Sadly converted to a driving game (Atari World Rally) (we removed board and steering wheel to sell on GreedBay), this actually has nice side art...does anyone want to try to use free cabinet? Email Todd [email protected] at TNT ...no shipping

What Steve said. It'd be great to see that turned back into a Night Driver and not 60'd.

Somebody did some work on that. The lower-front side has been changed. Night Driver was pre-"owl" coin door, and certainly pre-"over/under" coin door :)

Too bad it's been stripped. I would have added it to my 'Atari games that have been converted to World Rally' row.

Its sitting in a warehouse full of people that restore/saves arcade machines....

mmmmmmm, not really. It's in a place of business that employs people to do profitable things with arcade machines. Some of those guys could probably care less if they are sanding arcade cabinets, or sanding kitchen cabinets.

A business has to make financially responsible decisions to stay afloat. Paying a guy 20 bucks an hour to work on a cabinet for weeks on end and acquiring parts that cost more than the finished cabinet is worth would not be a good decision.

Todd has made his business decisions, and is offering up the cabinet for free in lieu of it going to the dump. A nice offer, and one he didn't have to put out there.

I'll throw it out there and say if someone wants to grab it and drop it off at my place, i'll hold on to it. No means to pick it up myself right now. I'm sure I can rebuild it after two other projects are done, but I'll hold it for anyone else to take in the meantime. Figure it's worth a shot.

Glad this was saved but if you have old stuff like this maybe try the Bronze age arcade Facebook group as well might be able to unload stuff like this faster there.
