Working on the logic board and what I have is slightly scrambled screen about half, 8 tones (beeps) , then a pause and repeat 8. Voltages are good 5v=5.23 , -15=-15.1, +15v=+15.1, -22 =-28.9, +22=+28.9, Red Led on. All socketed chips reseated , checked power at the A/R board and good there. Removed filter board and plugged direct to logic , but to no avail.... Both player start buttons are lit and made sure coin switch and test switch not stuck closed. I am in the process of searching on line for more info but wanted to post this here as well. Thank you,
Chad

update:

I found the 8 beeps total to be L4 bad. Too bad I did not have a manual at the time.

utsource (ebay user hkutsource) on Ebay seems to consistently sell good chips. Their been a lot of talk about "Bad" chips from Chinese vendors, but I've never had a problem with chips from this vendor. I go out of my way to buy from them when I have to buy chips from china on ebay. they also pack them super well/professionally.

I've had the same experiences with these folks. They seem to be able to source some very hard to find chips too.

Thank you, I did see a ram tester and this is a good item to have. Will be ordering.

Public service announcement, it's been discussed in the past, hkutsource also sell completely fake re-labelled parts.

I've bought parts from them with a 50% fail rate. Just for fun I bought some 68B09E cpus, those were really nice forgeries too. Shame they were actually 6809 cpus ( no E ). Another batch were really nicely resurfaced reprints, all with same datecode etc. but turn them over and you could see they were all different manufacturers, only about 10% of those were DOA.

Oh man that stinks I was hoping I found a trust worthy supplier since all my other purchased from them seemed great. but thanks for the info.

I just bought some 6502s from another eBay vendor (not utsource) had Rockwell date codes from 2014!!! And the tops were matte like finish while, the bottoms were shiny (and had different date codes :... clearly fake... Though they all work!?! I'm guessing they are probably 6502s not 6502Bs but this forgery stuff is so disappointing.
